Miss Leighya Marie DeLong

I don't have much experience to do stuff like this but hey here it goes. I have set up this account to try and help my granddaughter's parents. We have lost this beautiful angle to the angels above. Fly high baby girl (Leighya Marie DeLong). You go keep all of our loved ones in line baby girl...... RIP this was totally unexpected....Leighya had gotten the flu and was at the hospital on this past Saturday and was diagnosed with the flu. On Sun she wasn't doing any better so my son called the hospital and told them she wasn't doing any better and they said well you need to wait and take her to urgent care in the morning. Well Kathy (her maternal grandmother) said No I think she needs to go now so they loaded her up in the car and Kathy took her back up to the emergency room. She called my son (cause he was at home getting his son ready to take to the hospital cause he has the flu also, and told him she's not doing good. So my son gets to the hospital and shortly after she passes away.  Her (Leighya), her mom (Odessa), and her lil brother had recently moved to Kansas...they were here in Lincoln to have a Christmas with family up here. Odessa and her boyfriend Brett drove in from Kansas as soon as they got the call.  Not sure what is all going to happen or go on in the next few days but we have talked to the funeral home and they said anywhere from $1300.00 to $7500.00 just depends on what they want to do.  I wish we could wipe there pain away including everyone in the family....that is  not possible. So this is the next best thing I could thing of to do to help them out. I will post more information as I get it.  This is such a rough time of year to go through this. She has 3 other siblings a brother and two sisters....she was a big sister with the older sister love. Anything will help them with the finances and help grieve with their time rather than worry about what can be done or what can't be done.  Thank you for your time reading this.
