What is The Sherriff Centre?
We are a social enterprise and charity - home to The West Hampstead Post Office, The Sanctuary Cafe, Hullabaloo children’s soft play and Icon Gift Shop, as well as a number of weekly NCT groups, educational classes, baby sessions and music groups.
All profits go towards providing services and activities to support people who are in need or disadvantaged in the surrounding areas of West Hampstead, Kilburn, Brent and Camden. Our main charity provides critical debt and money advice service for the local community.
What do we do?
In the last 2.5 years:
· We helped over 100 people avoid debt of £1.4 million;
· we brought joy to more than 22,000 kids in our soft play plus socially-responsible coffee & mouth-watering cake to their parents & carers;
· we educated kids in over 15 NCT, learning & experiential classes;
· we served 10,000 people in the local community with our post office;
· we inspired gifting ideas with our shop;
· we helped 250 children celebrate their very special birthday.
