Intellihelp Global

Donation protected

In response to the global COVID pandemic, Intellihelp sprouted wings as a grassroots, peer-to-peer community of neighbors helping neighbors.  This community provides essential food and OTC medications to those most in need all across America and in 12 other Countries.

Intellihelp is a global exchange providing empathy, equity, generosity and care in times of crisis.

Intellihelp solves the immediate needs of the COVID crisis.  People sign up to join if they need help. Others join if they can give help. Intellihelp is a platform that matches those in need with those who can give.  Donations in Intellihelp are given in the form of Food, OTC Medications, or items like diapers.

Donations in the community  go directly to the person in need through this 100% peer-to-peer donation network.

More than 65,000 people have already joined in the mission of supporting one another.  Our grassroots platform has facilitated over $2 Million dollars worth of deliveries to over 10,000 families and neighbors in need.

Askers are mostly single women with children, elderly, and lower income folks who are isolated in their homes. In helping to facilitate these transactions, Intellihelp helps people survive. There are no cash asks and we keep the scammers at bay.  These are Mom's who can't leave home and have no cash but need formula for their babies; Grandpa's who can't get down six flights of stairs who need their meds brought up to them - the magic of this is endless and the hope is wonderfully fulfilling for all involved.

The number of those in need asking for help is growing exponentially

The new world we all live in presents unprecedented challenges.   Our modelling suggests that this community could grow to over 1M participants in just a few weeks.  Most of those signing up are those in need - and the numbers will only expand from there.

While this started in Austin, TX,  The community is now global and people are helping people around the world in over 12 countries.  We have a small but growing staff of tireless volunteers who are helping to manage the connections between those who ask for help - and those who deliver.  We have been using Facebook as a platform to piggyback off of to facilitate the thousands of transactions of help that have already occurred.  This is not scalable.

We need your help to support and build this community

-We need to support our volunteers - many of whom have lost their income and need a stipend to support their own families
-We need to build a scalable tech infrastructure that can support the growing demand of those in need - and the incredible outpouring of support from those who can give.
-We want to build this network so it endures through this crisis and beyond.

What will your donation be used for?

We are pleased to announce we have created a 501c3 Charitable organization for the purposes of building and maintaining the operations of the Intellihelp community.  Any donation you make in support of this platform will be tax deductible.

Your donation will go directly towards:

Supporting our volunteers - Some of our 87 volunteers are taking time away from their paying gigs to do this, most are completely volunteer - and many of those have no other income at this time.  We need to support our volunteers with a meager stipend to cover their own food, medicine, and recruit others so we can all get some sleep too!

Building out tech platform - We have enlisted on a volunteer basis the help of some of the best tech developers in the business whose resumes include building tech platforms like Uber, Lime, and some of the biggest most robust software that you use everyday.  This won't work on the backbone of Facebook - the complexity and volume of solving the demand we already have is much bigger than that.  There are hard costs involved in building a scalable platform to meet the demand we have already created.  The initial build out will be over $40,000 with an additional  $25,000 to follow soon after for deployment.  Bear in mind the market rate for building something like this would be at least 10x that number.

Maintaining the Flow of Help - There will be ongoing operational costs in keeping the system working including the hiring of some full time employees, ensuring transaction costs on networks we use are covered, legal, and so on.

Remember - Intellihelp facilitates 100% peer-to-peer donations.   When you give in the community  - it is going directly to the person in need.  Your donation here; this is to help us make those donations possible and so they occur without friction.  We need to make it easy so more people can ask, and so more people enjoy the act of giving.

We can't do this without you!

Please consider a donation of any size to help us meet our $150,000 goal to build this never been done before network of help and love.

We have pulled together an incredible array of talent to build this community.  The $ you give will compound incredibly given the level of expertise we have brought into play in this mission.  Help us build something special and Donate to Intellihelp right now-

Thank you!

Watch Below as Intellihelp instigator Ron Lynch explains WHY:

Who We Are:

Ron Lynch lives in Austin TX.  He started this mission as a reflex to how our world has been changing around us so quickly.  The idea was simple but started snowballing - how to help people - help people - in as simple and efficient a way as possible.  What started as a FB group amongst friends quickly mushroomed into a global effort.

I am Bing Howenstein - a business partner of Ron's.  We are in the business of marketing and starting consumer products companies.   When Ron started this on a Saturday night - I didn't even know.  However, by the next day we knew he had started something that had the potential  to help millions of people.  So I, along with a growing group, quickly raised our hands to help.

We have curated a group of incredibly talented pros in the fields of tech, food, logistics and distribution, mobile networks, marketing, legal, finance, and beyond.  Everyone has jumped in feet first and is highly motivated to do some good.

We all appreciate your joining us with your support!
