India is currently going through an unprecedented surge in COVID 19 pandemic, which is overwhelming the nation’s health care system and impacting the ability to get needed care.
The need for the hour is to supplement the scarcity of medical oxygen prevalent at the affected places. There are currently many initiatives from all over the world to help the common man in India.
ICAM (Indian Cultural Association of Minnesota, a nonprofit entity based out of Rochester MN ) has identified a unique framework to help by providing 1000 oxygen concentrators to various health care facilities and clinics in India that serve marginalized communities.
This is a unique opportunity to help our fellow citizens and we strongly feel that this targeted approach will make a difference to meet the need for the oxygen scarcity. When the scarcity for medical Oxygen is met, this fund will be utilized to meet other needs as the hour demands.
