I am embarking on an adventure that is all my own this year down the Appalachian Trail and into the International Appalachian Trail. I will be documenting my journey along the way through various news outlets, social media, writing for The Trek , but, possibly more importantly, I am raising money for Thorn.
thorn is a nonprofit devoted to ending modern slavery, yes I said Slavery. Children all over the planet are victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking, and Thorn is the hero devoted to developing various tools that allow police forces to identify these poor children and track down their abusers.
