Sadly, Stacy (Landgraf) Riedel's journey has come to an end. She fought with so much courage, positivity and strength since she was diagnosed. Stacy loved everyone with her whole heart and soul. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her but her memory will live on through the memories of laughter, love, silliness and so much more that we created with her. If you are able to help allieviate some of the financial strain that Jake (and the boys) now face, the Go Fund Me will remain open for a bit yet. Hi, my name is Amy Martin. I am raising money for Stacy (Landgraf) Riedel's unexpected medical and family expenses. Stacy was recently diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) and has a long fight ahead of her. She has started her chemotherapy treatments and these will continue on for some time. She will then have a mastectomy and continue to receive additional medical care after that. Stacy will be starting a Caring Bridge page soon to keep everyone posted on her medical journey.

 

Stacy and I have been friends since we were little kids, growing up and playing numerous sports together. Soccer, being the most important to us and many of our other friends. The best way we could come up with helping to raise money for Stacy and her family, was a charity soccer game. We already have numerous local elected officials and soccer parents who are excited to participate in this game. More information will come in the next couple of weeks about this event, so stay tuned. There will be a signup for rosters and more information on how to support those events.

 

In the meantime, I am also starting this GoFundMe page to raise additional funds immediately. I pledge to stand united with Stacy and shave my own head to bring awareness to IBC and support my friend in her fight. My goal is $5000. I know that we can meet and exceed that!
