Help Josie and her family kick cancers butt!

Donation protected
I’ve known this beautiful, caring, giving and sensitive young lady since she was a bubba! She is now 11 years old ♥️..... I introduce Josie to you all.

She has such a passion for life! She brings so much light and love to her community, the environment, friends, sporting teams, dance teams and family. Her love for life goes beyond herself and extends to so many others both human and animal. She truly is an inspiration and at such a young age!

Today I found out Josie has bone cancer in her lower leg. This news was truly heart breaking. Josie loves being active and enjoys dance, netball, swimming, camping, practicing gymnastics with friends, going skating and so, so much more. Whilst everyone around her was devastated with today’s news, Josie’s one concern was that her mum was alright ♥️.
Josie’s mum (Nic) is one of my dearest friends (adopted family over here in OZ and amazing god parent to my twins). Nic is a single mother of three fabulous children (Ben, Josie and Charlotte) who have all learned how to be beautiful inside and out from her. Nicole is a high school teacher and for as long as I have known her has always given 150% to her children and students.
It’s so hard bringing up children on one wage and Nic is no stranger to making huge sacrifices for her children.
This news has shattered Nic, Josie, Ben and Charlotte’s sense of life’s predictability and safety. Whilst surgery and treatment in hospital is covered, Nic and her family will have a tough journey ahead of them.
This truly beautiful family will need financial support just to keep life going and to pay for Josie and the rest of the children’s support needs in months that follow.
I ask you to dig deep and pledge as much as you can to support this gorgeous family manage bills, transport costs, therapy costs etc over the next several months.
Nic and her family live within the constraints of a very tight (sometimes too tight) budget. They need our support. I could not think of a more deserving family.

Josie will have to learn to adapt to a new way of living. The type of surgery will be invasive and will have significant impact on her ability to do what she loves at best and may result in some more significant surgery / impact on her mobility depending on what we find out next week - fingers crossed this is not the case.
I will keep you posted as to how she is doing.
A truly beautiful young lady inside and out♥️.
Life long friends ♥️. Please help this beautiful family in their true time of need.
