Help fund a hero dogs vet bills and rehabilitation

On Sunday 26th April, my dad was walking his foster dog called Monty over Willenhall Park at night around 10 - 10:30 getting his much valued excersize when a motorbike circled around not far from where he was along a tree lined path and disappeared, all of a sudden from no where the motorbike headed straight for my dad in which the police said it was a suspected mugging which went wrong when Monty came to the rescue and tried to protect my dad from the motorcycle charging towards him.   The tree lined path is not that wide so it could have been a lot worse.

Monty got hit and ended up badly injured and he helped prevent what could have been a head on collision with my dad who escaped with minor injuries by getting clipped.

The motorcyclist ploughed straight through and didn't care to stop, leaving my dad who already has ill health stranded with what he thought was a dieing dog and there was nothing he could do.

Luckily he didn't get mugged and managed to call for help.  He was along a narrow tree lined path heart broken all on his own in the dark.  Help came and Monty got took to the emergency vets.  He seemed like his life was slipping away but managed to survive the journey to the vets where it has remained touch an go.  At first Monty could not move and was bleeding from the mouth, above his eye and side.  It turns out his face took the full brunt of the force that hit him.

After spending nights at the PDSA pet hospital in Oldbury we have now been informed that there is a tiny bit of improvement but if there isn't anymore over the next few days we would have to consider the kindest option.  The PDSA vets have advised an MRI scan in which currently they do not do, it would be expensive costing £1000 plus, if there is no real improvement within the next week  or two we would have to consider putting him to sleep, we want to try whatever we can to give the hero dog as much chance as possible before hand.

If an MRI scan is needed costing £1000 plus the main money raised will go towards that and some towards recovery and the PDSA.

If an MRI is not required then money can be diverted to recovery and the PDSA.
