With recent events making it incredibly difficult to know if our event would be able to go ahead in its normal way, we have made the tough decision to change things this year!
While there will not be an event you can come to in person, Give a Gift is going virtual!
On SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21ST AND SUNDAY 22ND we will be broadcasting some incredible live streams on our Facebook page.

Due to new restrictions at the hospital we are sadly not able to collect physical gifts we have instead set up a go fund me where you can donate the cost of a small gift – or a large one if you’re feeling generous – and we have arranged for one of the team at the hospital to shop with us so we can ensure that each and every penny will be spent on gifts that fall within the new safety guidelines.
*EVERYONE WHO DONATES WILL BE PUT INTO OUR PRIZE DRAW WITH PRIZES ANNOUNCED OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS*
The children in hospital this Christmas Day will not be able to have a visit from Santa like normal so we will be organising for him to visit them virtually and the lovely nurses on the wards have agreed to hand over the gifts on his behalf.

ABOUT GIVE A GIFT SOUTHAMPTON
Established in 2012 'Give a Gift' is a group of local people who all have a personal connection to Southampton General Hospital. Some as long term patients, some as parents of patients and some who have experienced the great work they do through having family or friends spend time there.
We are not for profit and all of us volunteer to run our yearly event.
To date we're collected in excess of 2000 gifts and raised over £4000 for charities.
