Wir, Studenten der Business School in Mannheim und Paris, unterstützen DKMS mit Spendengeldern, um Menschen mit Blutkrebs die Chance auf ein zweites Leben zu ermöglichen.
We, Students of the Business School in Mannheim and Paris, support DKMS with donations to give people with blood cancer the chance of a second life.
DKMS steht für Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei und ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation. DKMS Vision lautet: Wir besiegen Blutkrebs. DKMS hat sich das Ziel gesetzt, für jeden Blutkrebspatienten einen passenden Spender zu finden oder den Zugang zu Therapien zu ermöglichen – überall auf der Welt.
Alle 15 Minuten erhält ein Mensch in Deutschland die niederschmetternde Diagnose Blutkrebs. Viele Patienten sind Kinder und Jugendliche, deren einzige Chance auf Heilung eine Stammzellspende ist.
Die Registrierung eines neuen Spenders kostet ca. 35 Euro. Der größte Anteil entfällt dabei auf die Laborkosten, die für eine Typisierung entstehen. Mit Spendengeldern helfen sie dabei, diese Kosten zu decken. Alternativ können sich jedoch jederzeit auch ohne begleitende Geldspende als Stammzellspender registrieren.

We, students of the Business School in Mannheim and Paris, support DKMS with donations to give people with blood cancer the chance of a second life.
DKMS stands for Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei (German bone marrow donor file) and is a non-profit organization. DKMS vision is: We eliminate blood cancer. DKMS has set itself the goal of finding a suitable donor for every blood cancer patient or to enable access to therapies - anywhere in the world.
Every 15 minutes a person in Germany receives the devastating diagnosis of blood cancer. Many patients are children and adolescents whose only chance of recovery is a stem cell donation.
The registration of a new donor costs about 35 euros. Most of this is due to the laboratory costs incurred for typing. Donations help to cover these costs. Alternatively, you can register as a stem cell donor at any time without an accompanying monetary donation.
