Jodi Jones Matchworn Shirt - Teigan’s Journey

Firstly thank you for viewing this page!

Teigan is a 9 year old girl who supports Coventry City. On Easter morning her & her families lives changed forever when she was tragically diagnosed with a rare brain tumor known as ‘Diffuse Pontine Glioma’ (DIPG) which is the most aggressive of childhood cancers. It is described as ‘terminal on diagnosis’ which means there is no cure, no effective treatment and 0% survival rate. Considering all diagnoses, the 2 year survival rate is typically 10% and the 5 year survival rate is around only 2%.

Anybody that knows Teigan, will know that even this will not stop her, she is strong, brave and determined to beat this. After 1 round of radiotherapy, the doctors were amazed by how much the tumor had shrunk. This kick started Teigan’s family into exploring every possible option. They have started a Go Fund Me page to try and raise money for a clinical drug trial in Switzerland. These trials start from 100,000 - 400,000 or even more depending on treatment. Teigan has to be 12 weeks post radiotherapy, she is now currently on week 6.

The reason I am doing this is because I believe we can all make the impossible, possible! As a Coventry City player I would do anything to help a young Coventry City fan. So I am giving away my match worn shirt from our Checkatrade Trophy Victory at Wembley in 2017 which we won 2-1 infront of 74,434 fans. This shirt means a lot to me but it is nowhere near as important as Teigans life! Every donation will make a huge difference and out of everybody that donates i will chose somebody to give this top to. Let’s make the impossible, possible!
