Bring Ruairi Home

We have created this page and a go fund me account for the sole purpose of raising funds to help to bring Ruairi home.

Ruairi is our beautiful 13 almost 14 year old son.

Ruairi has autism, adhd, a severe learning disability and extreme anxiety.

Ruairi needs a lot of help and support to function due to his conditions and complex needs.

Two years ago on the 6th June 2018 Ruairi was admitted to The Iveagh Center in Belfast for assessment and treatment.

Ruairi has reached a point whereby the Iveagh Center have almost  completed their assessment and treatment.

It has been identified that moving forward Ruairi will require lifelong support from a robust support team plus adaptations to     the family home.

To date these things have not been provided.

We along with the support of our friends and family have decided to try and raise necessary funds to help bring Ruairi home. 

We haven’t taken this decision lightly but we can no longer watch our son deteriorate and we desperately want him home.

Some of our friends and family are planning a variety of small fundraisers also.

We will post details of all of their efforts on  this page.

We have asked  Donal Corrigan to set up and look after a separate bank account account to which we can lodge any
offline donations and automatic withdrawals made by GoFundMe.  We have known Donal for many years now and know
that he will manage this account on Ruairi's behalf and in his best interests.  Many thanks for coming onboard.
