Ahnie’s Big Scoot

My name is Ahnie and I will be 4 in May.  I am looked after by my family who are helped by the amazing Rennie Grove Pepper Nurses.
They look after children like me who have progressive disorders, are chronically sick or terminally ill.
I can’t have a party with my friends because I am keeping safe at home from Covid19 but I can go to the park for a scooter.
I cannot see very much now and I have a teacher who is helping me learn Braille and my legs don’t work very well because I have ataxia ... but I can still do a bit of scootering which I love.
I’m going to scooter 400m (maybe with some sibling help!) to celebrate being 4 on my fantastic purple scooter!
I am going to do my scoot on the local park on the 17th May if I stay well .. or another date if I’m too tired that day! My family will record me so please sponsor me!
