Help Randy and Sharon Cuthbert in this hard time

On Thursday February 27th, Randy was playing his favourite past time hockey, as anyone that knows him, understands how deep his passion is for the game. He has played at least 3 times a week for almost 50 years! ❤️ Even after coming back from hip and knee replacements, he was back on the ice as soon as he was allowed.  On this Thursday he went into the boards head first so fast and so hard, he didn’t have time to brace himself, and was knocked unconscious. He was taken by ambulance to Sarnia hospital where numerous scans and x-rays where done. His C2 has been crushed and his head can’t stay up on its own and suffers from a severe concussion. He is currently at a 12 out of 10 pain level, and for everyone that knows Randy, that is a lot. He has cut his finger off before and duct taped it and finished what he was working on! Anyone who knows Randy know he is always helping others. He would do anything for anyone. He is an amazing husband and father who bends over backwards for everybody. He is a strong man. This time is different. He has intolerable pain the meds aren’t touching. He is waiting to go to London to see a specialist surgeon. He will have months of recovery. Months of physical therapy. It will be along time before he’s able to return to work or normal activities, if even so. His worst fear is never being able to play hockey again. We are just praying for a full recovery and have our husband and father back.  Sharon now has to give up her part time job to care for him, as he requires 24/7 care.
