Struggling Veteran

My wife and I came here to Hawaii to start a new life. I just finished my 3 yr term in Active Duty Army and enlisted in the National Guard Reserves. Since being here my wife and I have experienced hardship after hardship. We got scammed $1,300 for an apartment that we thought we were getting, paid over $2,000 for a hotel to avoid being homeless but evedently happened, all of this created a negative balance in my account of over $1,000.  I could not enroll in school because i was to late but was not part of my plan.  I had initially enilisted in Active Duty for the National Guard but was denied it because they were only keeping those they saw fit.  Because of this my plans of providign my wife and i a secured living became a struggle.  We became homeless for a couple days with no money to ourselves.  What my wife and I would do with this money that we hope and pray to recieve is paying our past due bills, keeping our phones connected so we could stay in touch with our families back home, and hopefully to get ourselves back on our feet untill i could register for school.
