Returning Home

I already posted the whole situation on my Facebook status, but to recap here: The move to New York was a bust and we're currently in a homeless shelter. A shelter that's draining both my mental and physical health, due to having to deal with my parents the whole time and being constantly stressed to find a job. It feels like a dead-end. So now I'm here, asking you guys for help to get back to Chicago so I can be free of all of this, get on my own, and get a job there and live my own life. I already have a place to crash until I can get on my feet, but the main issue right now is money.

Some of you have already offered to help me out with getting back. I've elected to take the cheapest travel option, which appears to be by bus, either through Megabus or through Greyhound. If anyone knows any cheaper options let me know, but from what I've seen the cheapest one-way tickets are between $65-80, depending on the date and time. The reason I set my goal for $200 is to account for the money I'll need for food and CTA transportation while I try to get work. Hopefully that should be enough to cover me for a couple weeks so I can secure a job and start saving up. Its a bare minimum amount, but I hope I can make it work. But any bit, no matter how big or little it is, will help tremendously. I know some of you can't help out financially and that's ok, the feelings are always appreciated <3 If I end up with less than $200 then that might still be fine, though I might be a bit delayed. If I end up with more than $200, well, I'll be the most thankful person ever, and with even more reinforcement (as if I need any more) that I have the best friends a person could have.

So yeah, this is probably all awkward but I've never had to do anything like this before so this is all really new to me. But I appreciate all the support and everything everyone is doing for me. Thanks, all of you.
