About Marcus Petitt
For years, Marcus envisioned leading a praise & worship group that would advance the Kingdom of God and enrich lives through a variety of authentic and distinctive music. After graduating from the University of Southern California, where he served as Head Director of the Saved By Grace Gospel choir, he decided to actively pursue his calling. Ready to share his gifts with the world, Marcus stepped out on faith to establish Eclectic Praise in 2013.
About Eclectic Praise
Just weeks after a close friend encouraged him to transcribe his vision on paper, Marcus prayerfully decided to form a gospel ensemble after a unique opportunity arose. Pulling from an extensive network of gifted and God-fearing friends, he brought together a group of young, dynamic individuals who are dedicated to both spiritual and musical excellence.
Now, nearly two years since their highly-anticipated launch, Marcus Petitt & Eclectic Praise is ready to provide their audiences with something tangible.
Our Debut Album
We are raising funds for our first commercial recording. God has inspired original music within us that we want to share with the entire world, and with your support, we are confident in our ability to do so.
Our debut album will feature a conglomeration of musical styles - infusing elements of jazz, classical, traditional and contemporary gospel music - while offering a unique sound that has been compared to the likes of the Richard Smallwood Singers and the world-reknown, Manhattan Transfer.
We are committed to providing a professional product that is competitive in the marketplace. The $25,000 budget will cover the following expenses:
Approximately $10,000 will be used for recording, mixing, and mastering the album. The remaining $15,000 will be used to pay for post-recording, distribution, and marketing costs.
