Raising money for Diana Princess of Wales Hospital and New Cross Hospital
Donation protected
January 3rd we all welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the Parsons family, my sister, Emily gave birth to her 3rd son, Dimitrius at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. After only a couple of days at home Dimitrius become ill but after quickly being moved over to the Diana Princess of Wales hospital in Birmingham PIC Unit he shortly passed away.
After spending the Christmas period in anticipation of the new arrival my sister only got to spend 4 days with her baby.
Dimitrius was diagnosed with meningitis caused my streptococcus but unfortunately the correct medication didn\'t reach him in time.
Hopefully with the money we are able to raise Emily will be directly donating to both The Princes Diana Ward in Birmingham and New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, whom tirelessly gave 100% attention for helping her and Dimitrius through those 4 days especially. The money will be spent on facilitating better comfort and better access to necessary equipment and medication for both child and mother.
One of the events already lined up will be on Sunday May 6th when my older brother, James \'Fish\' Parsons and I will be running the Three Forts Marathon in Worthing, South Sussex. Depending on age limit we hope to have our younger brother join us too. That\'s 26 miles of mud and hills, off road with only 400 competitors, as much support as possible will be greatly appreciated :)
£500 is the current aim but through promoting via facebook, articles, events and word of mouth this is realistic amount which i hope to exceed but this is only achievable with everyone\'s help. A lot of you reading will be Mum\'s, Dad\'s, Brother\'s, Sister\'s, Aunt\'s or Uncle\'s therefore can only imagine the grief my sister has gone through, please help us help her.
