Self Esteem Workshop for Young Women

Hi. Im hosting a self esteem building workshop for middle school aged girls.  Because of the dynamic response from the community we'll be visiting various communities in Maryland to offer this workshop to as many girls as are interested in attending.

Donations will help provide attendeese of these workshops with healthy snacks, a catered evening meal, and gift bags filled with personal care items, keepsakes & school supplies.

Our first event will be held on Sunday August 31st, 2014 in Abingdon, MD.  In order to pay forward the kindness that was shown myself and the other mentors will be making a group donation to Lupus Research as well as to the Thrive House in DC, a transitional home for survivors of child sex trafficking.

Subsequent workshops will be announced as venues and volunteers are secured.
