Rescue Kitten Surgery Costs

This morning I was scared for my life on the curb surrounded by hundreds of cars whizzing by... but I was saved by someone with a kind heart willing to give me a fighting second chance at life.  I'm cuddly and affectionate and had a home before I was thrown outside and left all alone.

I have a funny smile because my bottom lip is torn and it shows off my shiny gums and teeth like a little bulldog, and even the veterinarian has never seen anything like it before.  The vet says I need surgery immediately to fix me up so I can smile again.  But the person who saved me has a kitty already and can't keep me, and my surgery is really expensive... she doesn't have all the money she needs to help me.  But that's okay, because her friend saw my adorable face and couldn't resist helping me!



But there's something else I was hiding that my saviors didn't see right away...  I have feline leukemia, and both of my people have kitties already that don't have what I have.  I don't want them to get it too!  We have to wait a whole four weeks before we know if I will have this thing with me for the rest of my life, but my lip... well, my lip couldn't wait, so my two new best friends had to make a really quick decision on what was best for me even though they really don't have the money to help.   They want to give me an amazing home and a second chance at life!


Please help us help little Kuro have a fighting chance to see a good home!  Every donation helps my friend with the cost of the medical bills.  She is a truly amazing and self-less person and stepped up to save this kitten's life even though she lives hours away, has never held or seen this kitten with her own eyes and is in no financial situation to be doing something so great and wonderful.  Sitting in the vet's office deciding the fate of this little kitten today was one of the most stressful decisions of my life, and I am so, so grateful that we decided to give her a chance to shine.
