Animal Rescue Farm

Donation protected
If we've spoken for at least two minutes, chances are you're already aware of my love for animals.

If we've spoken for at least five, you're likely aware of my extreme passion for animal rescue.

Ten, and you certainly know that my dream to open and run a farm with rescued animals, large and small.

Every once in a while, you get an opportunity to take a chance and, perhaps even, make a difference in the world.

I had that opportunity via a contest to win a farm a couple of years ago. But the contest ended and I did not win.

But the dream lives on.

Which brings me to the point of this page. I want to dedicate my life to saving animals -- but, unfortunately, it's within the non-profit category for a reason.

After fostering dogs for years, I realized I'd love to have the resources (location, etc.) to rescue animals of all types.
The cute. The wonky. Three legged; one eyed; ugly; adorable, young, old.
This is my dream and I'd love to make it a reality.

A couple years ago, I entered a contest to win a farm. It didn't work out, but the dream never died.

Rubbing an animal rescue is going to be hard work - a labor of love. It's also going to be expensive since I have to purchase a property and then take care of the animals.

All funding will be put towards funding for the farm's rescue startup costs.

As far as incentives to donate to my cause, it would be easy for me to tell you that you, as a donor, could visit the farm. That would be moot, however, because everyone would be free to visit, regardless of making a donation.

Not only will my farm take in rescue animals, but will welcome educational groups to visit and learn about animals and animal rescue.

Studies  have shown that animals have helped within the disabled community, especially with therapy and positive self-acceptance in children. I think it would be beneficial to open doors to these communities children and adults, alike.

I find it important to note that none of the animals on what I've lovingly nicknamed my "Funny Farm" would ever be eaten, in case anyone was wondering. These animals would be the outcasts, the castaways and the neglected - those most in need of love, care and a place to live out a most-deserving life of love, care and compassion.

What is the point of living without a dream? Life is too short and not enough people are stepping up to save these creatures who deserve to be loved and given a life with happiness.

If you can find it in your heart to support my dream and donate or share, you'd be helping to make it happen. You'd be a hero to, not only me, but every animal we save.

It may sound crazy but I dream of waking up to a rooster and falling asleep to the sound of crickets, with lots of mood, neighs, barks and oinks in between. I understand it will be endless hard work but it will be work I'm passionate about.

The size of the donation doesn't matter, big or small, every little bit makes a difference.

Thank you kindly for believing in me, my dream and, most of all, a cause that matters.

I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Thank you,

Elizabeth
