Crevolution: In Memory of Mays Overton

Mays Thomas Overton-Botello passed on March 10th, 2013. Mays was born October 30th, 1985 in Mexico City, Mexico. He was a beloved son, brother and friend to all that knew him. Mays grew up in Round Rock, TX and attended Stony Point High School. While at Stony Point, Mays was active in the marching band for a number of years as well as the first robotics club on campus. Mays graduated from Stony Point in 2004 with the highest number of college credits in the history of the school. Mays continued his passion for science and engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, studying Aerospace Engineering. While a student he was again involved in the community forming groups such as the Knighthood of BUH along with working in the College of Engineering. After graduation Mays re-located to Troy, Michigan to work for BAE Systems, Inc. While in Michigan Mays volunteered for Crevolution Robotics (team 2851), helping the next generation of engineers find their own passions.

He is survived by his parents, Mays and Lilly Overton, and his two sisters, Alexis and Patricia, as well as many friends spanning from Texas to Michigan. Mays was loved dearly by all his friends and family and could always be found with a smile and a kind word to say.
