Dear Friends,
The Gwythers are in a difficult situation as they have just lost their sole means of income. We would like to help provide for their needs for the next few months.
This was an unexpected situation. For the last 10 years Jordan has been preparing for vocational ministry through internships and serving in a variety of positions in his local church. He was blessed with a position earlier this year, but had only been in the job for 3 months when he was unfortunately laid off due to an unexpected closing of the church he was serving.
Jordan has received a severance package, which will help them during the job search, but it will only provide for their family for the next 4 weeks. As many of us have experienced, a job search can take more time than a month. Jordan isn’t quite sure what he will do next. He is considering a few different career options, but nothing is clear at this point.
We are asking you to help us raise $10,000 for the Gwythers’ expenses while Jordan looks for a new job. This would go a long way to helping take care of their basic needs through November. Additionally, they ask for your prayer during this difficult season.
They are deeply grateful for their time on staff at their church and wouldn’t trade it for the world. However, trying to discern what to do next is increasingly difficult.
