Jim Cavanaugh has devoted his professional life to economic development and improving the quality of life for his fellow Louisianians. He is one of the finest young men I have ever known.
Recently, Jim was struck down with a serious case of West Nile virus. He was very seriously ill, but survived. After spending 7 weeks in two different hospitals, he now faces physical therapy to be able to walk unaided, develop motor skills, and many weeks of recovery before he is able to return to work doing the economic development he loves.
