Exciting news! We have been selected to play a showcase at CMJ's Music Marathon in NYC! This has been a dream of ours for years, as well as a big stepping stone for any band.
As many of you know, we in Future Loves Past are rich in spirit and creativity, but very poor financially. We just spent every last dime to our names securing studio time with one Mr. Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket studios, which we are very excited about. This session will produce two beautiful, brand new singles which no one has ever heard!
The timing could not have been any better for the recording of this new material. A month after recording, we will be headed to NYC to play CMJ Music Marathon. Our goal is to get some solid radio play, and hopefully chart high enough on CMJ to create some buzz for our showcase.
Here is where you come in. Because we spent every last bit of our money on the studio time, "we needja help!" Some of the costs we are facing include mastering of the two singles, paying promotional and marketing fees, travel expenses for 5 to NYC and back, and everything between. We said yes to CMJ's offer, obviously, but if we cannot come up with the money, it will be impossible for us to do this.
We consider this a very important opportunity, and one of the first steps to national success. We hope all our loyal friends, family and fans can find it in your hearts to kick a few dollars (or a lot of dollars if you're a baller) so we can continue this crazy roller coaster of a dream that is Future Loves Past!
