Help Shylo's Recovery!

Shylo is an eight year old domestic short hair that has been with me since he was just seven weeks old. Earlier this week he started vomiting and behaving strangely, and after an x-ray at the emergency vet it was discovered that he had gallstones inside of his gallbladder. When we brought him for an ultrasound the vet confirmed that the stones were indeed obstructing his gallbladder and that he needed surgery immediately to remove them. Untreated, the gallbladder could burst and allow bile to make its way into the rest of the body... something we obviously wanted to avoid.



Shylo went in for his surgery on Monday and finally came home today (Wednesday)... now we have a long road of recovery ahead of us and $4000 in vet bills that somehow need to be paid off. His procedure went well but he is still on several medications to help fight off infection and keep everything functioning properly while he heals.

I know at my current income level I will not be able to pay off all of these bills while still paying my rent, food, and gas to get to and from work, so I am asking for help to lessen some of the load! This cat is everything to me and although the worst of it has passed, we still have a long way to go.
