East Aurora Study Abroad to Cuba

WHO IS THIS FOR?
As a college student, much of my motivation and inspiration came from traveling abroad. From meeting new, exciting people to gaining a confidence boost at some of the most historic places on Earth. I can say, without any doubt, the experiences learned in the many countries I visited and lived in helped me become the man I am today.
My lifelong dream of becoming an educator became a reality in 2014.
This passion and dedication to education is lived each and every day I am with my students. My goal was to take the once-in-a-lifetime experiences I gained in college to my students.
I want these 8 high school students to know what it's like...
-to be a global citizen so they can contribute to their community
-to care and see the world in a different way because we need the youth to make positive change
-for them to stand out on college applications because they deserve the greatest academic opportunities.
That is why I want to lead the first group of high school students from the state of Illinois to visit the nation of Cuba.
As our relations improve, so can our desire to see various parts of the globe, and become young ambassadors of education.
The motivated students of East Aurora High School want to make history and are ready to embark on this unforgettable journey.
Through EF tours (eftours.com) that dream is becoming a reality. Now, we need your help.
We come from an area where an abundance of finances do not always allow us to live these dreams without being resourceful and getting creative.
HOW CAN YOU HELP:
I am reaching out to all sponsors of education and those who believe in the unlimited benefits of travel. I am reaching out to those who can make a group of high school students’ dreams a reality.
My goal is to raise $8,000 (help off-set some of the costs for 8 students)
SUGGESTED DONATIONS:
-Any dollar amount donation will receive a BIG THANK YOU, tax deduction, and a video from our trip (produced after we return).
-$100+ donation: engage with us and get live updates while we're on our trip. Have a question you want us to ask the locals? Simply engage with us in the Private Facebook Group (coming soon).
