Please help me get to NYFA.

I have wanted to act since I can remember. I have always known this was meant for me. I auditioned for the New York Film Academy this summer for audition experience and to have the chance to appear in front of such an important school. I never dreamed that I would be offered a place. They have offered me a place on the Acting for Film course. I was speechless. Although my passion has pulled me through rejections - I was beginning to question my ability and getting a break like this was unbelievable.

Due to the incredibly high fees my mother and I are unable to fund my studies ourselves. The course costs $31,000 - I have been awarded a $6000 TALENT BASED SCHOLARSHIP and I am currently i the process for applying for a needs based scholarship which would mean the total of scholarship money would be worth $10,000. This still leaves a lot to raise. I am in the process of organising several fundraisers in aid of my cause - I will post updates on this site as well as facebook and twitter about tickets and dates etc. To everyone even looking at this page - I hope to give something back and these separate fundraisers will hopefully do just that. I would appreciate any help you can possibly give me more than you will ever know.
