Our mission: To raise funds to purchase specific and basic needs for the poor children of Brosteni, Romainia. 100% of your donations will be used to purchase items (listed below) that will directly impact the orphans and we will be personally delivered and distributed by Shannon Serafin, Ann Donovan, and George Varga to Brosteni, Romania the week of September15th. DISCLAIMER: We have personally and fully funded our trip. None of the donations received will fund any aspect of our trip. We are also covering all adminstrative charges from this website.
Why Romania? In honor of my brother, Frankie Donovan, and my brother In Christ, George Varga. They have had personal experience living as an orphan in a Romanian orphanage.
How you can help: Any amount of donation has an impact. We promise to be very transparent in providing you feedback during and after our trip as to the impact your donation has had on the children. Updates can be viewed on my Facebook page by clicking on this LINK.We are not be able to accept donations other than monetary funds because it is not feesable to travel with amount of needed items. We will be purchasing the items in Romainia and personally distributing them to the children.
With the funds received we will purchase the following items in order of urgent need:
-100 pairs of winter shoes @ $10.00/pair
-Winter jackets
-Winter blankets
-School supplies
-Basic toiletries
About the orphanage we will be visiting:
