Dream Catchers

A dream come true...well, almost! Mike Williams and Duane Jacobs share a dream and they're going to go for it....but need some support to help make it all happen!! Please help these guys get to Kentucky Lake, where they will have the opportunity to fish the Bassmaster Toyota Big Bucks Team Tournament in Paris, Tennessee....November 29th & 30th this year!!! The top 3 teams in this event split up and fish against each other December 2nd and 3rd, with the winner of this claiming the spot and once in a lifetime, opportunity to fish the Bassmaster Classic, the Stanley Cup of fishing!!! If the Leafs can't do it, maybe they can!! This event is coming up quick and these guys, both working family men, were just extended the invitation to attend a couple weeks ago....not allowing for much, if any planning, especially financially. We can't let a few dollars stand in the way for these 2...
A little history....Mike and Duane are cousins, friends, and fishing partners who share a life long passion for fishing and a dream to go further than they ever thought possible. These two started out as little boys, who while growing up in Curve Lake, Ontario, spent their summers fishing every chance they could...this was the start of something amazing! As they grew, so did their knowledge, experience, and skill on the water, they learned how to work with and read each other and prove that hard work and dedication truly pays off....they learned how to win. This pair have fished Top Bass Ontario and CSFL tournaments capturing 'Angler of the Year' 4 years in a row and all Canadian Titles....they took home their most signficant win this summer with the CSFL National Classic and Regional Cup...earning them an invitation to represent Canada in Kentucky.....a once in a lifetime invitation, opportunity and a dream come true. Unfortunately, with this opportunity comes the expense of time off work, travel, accommodation, Etc. Etc....these guys do this on their own, they don't depend on big company sponsorship....and this is where we're hoping to pay it forward with some support for two local guys who are always giving.... from organizing and running various fundraising fishing tournaments to help raise money for kids in the community to play hockey, organizing a weekly fishing club to get the locals out and keep the sport alive, volunteering to coach for different kids hockey teams, sharing the knowledge of the sport while on the water as your local fishing guides...and endlessly donating time, money, and sponsoring numerous local events and teams.... Even with families of their own - Mike is the single father of 2, and Duane and his very supportive wife, Tanya, have 4 kids as well as a beautiful new granddaughter - these guys truly give back in any way they can...please do the same for them...
Any little bit is truly appreciated and will get these guys that much closer to this once in a lifetime opportunity....and fulfilling a dream...
