So my cat suffers from a rare oral disease called Stomatitus. Stomatitus causes inflamation from tooth plaque allergies. The discomfort is so extreme that cats who suffer from it do not eat for long periods of time. This causes malnourishment and leads to fur loss, muscle loss, dehydration, and if untreated: Death.
She's been living with this for so long that it scares me to know/comprehend how she's feeling. She's afraid of dry food and her face is constantly swollen. Sometimes i would pass by her and her mouth would be bleeding or she would be drooling thick greenish "slime".
Our goal here is to raise enough money to extract her teeth (the procedure used to curing this disease).
The vets have said that the maximum payment would be around $1,700 (before x-rays and pain medication). The MINIMUM would be $800.
So lets do our best!
