My name is Colton, and I was in the first bomb that went off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. I was there with my wife Kimberly and her family to watch her mom run the marathon. Of the nine people in our group that day, five ended up in the hospital with severe injuries. By the grace of God, Kimberly, her aunt, and I sustained only minor injuries compared to others who had been directly next to us. We were able to each stay with different members of our family as they were loaded into ambulances and taken to three different hospitals. My wife's two older siblings, Gina and Peter, had very severe damage done to their legs and have spent the last several weeks in the hospital and rehabilitation center. Although Gina is home now and Peter will be going home soon, this is really only the beginning of what will be an extremely long road to recovery. I have set this site up for those of you who have expressed a desire to help them in that process. We are all deeply grateful for the help we have received already -not just financially - but physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Lord had His hand on all of us that day, and despite the horrific experience we have all suffered, we know that He has a plan for all of this. Thank you for your prayers, your loving words, and your willingness to be a part of our story.

" But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

2 Corinthians 12:9
