Starving Writer Survival Fund

So, I'm Tymen, the aforementioned starving writer, and I am perhaps a month away from eviction (two, if I'm lucky.) My rent is high, but moving is just as expensive and I'm unlikely to find a place to live that is within my current budget.  You see I'm on social assistance, and as usual it isn't enough to survive on. I was laid off from work over two years ago and have burned through what savings I had trying to keep my head above water. I've been trying to find work, but with this economy and my health issues (I suffer from severe depression and have lymphedema (sweilling) in both legs.) I can't work a job that requires me to be on my feet for extended periods of time (so retail, construction and other jobs like that are unavailable to me). My depression can also put a severe strain on my employment prospects. The soul-crushing prospect of searching for work in this depressed economy is already daunting enough, add to that the weight of my brain trying to sabotage me at every opportunity, and you can see where I'm at.
Please if you can, lend me a hand up. I hope that in the future when I'm through this rough patch, that I'll be able to pay it forward.
