It's Time to Overcome Emetophobia

Wow okay hi! My name is Nichole and it comes as no shock to people that know me that I am emetophobic. I hear you asking what that is and that's okay! I'll explain it!
Emetophobia is defined as the fear of vomiting. "So what," you may say. "Vomiting isn't that bad," you cry out! Well, sure. Maybe not for you. However for someone that is extremely phobic, as myself, it's a terrifying idea. Picture this - you're terrified to fly. Every time you have to, which isn't often, you have a debilitating anxiety that comes with it. Now this only happens when you're about to fly, because you know that on any given day you're not suddenly going to have to fly! Well for people that are emetophobic we can NEVER be sure that we won't get sick. Literally every hour of every day is filled with the anxiety that it may be about to happen. It's balls.
So what's this fundraiser for? Well, through research I've found a really good professional that deals with this phobia using the Thrive program. This program has had an incredible success rate of curing people. It's $100.00 per session, and it's seven sessions long. I set the goal for $800.00 due to fees from GoFundMe (which I'm sure exist?) and a little cushion in case another session is needed (additional sessions are $50.00). Before losing my job I would not have had any issues with this extra money, however my new job does not give me the leeway to spend this extra money.
So that's about it! I think if this doesn't reach goal I still get dollars, in which case I will still do the program. It just means my credit card will be a little sad for a while, which I'm hoping to avoid!
