Destination Porto

Education is the power of future generations! In countries struck by war, schools are being destroyed leaving an entire generation out of school for many years! According to UN, nine per cent of children at primary level aged six to 11 years, or 63 million, are out of school globally (https://news.un.org/en/story/2018/03/1003961). This number is even higher in conflict areas and war zones where schools are bombed. 

During our 25-day cycling trip across Europe with the final destination Porto in Portugal, we are raising money for children's education! More specifically your donations will help projects and/or organisations in war zones or refugee camps to offer education to children in primary school.

The raised money will go directly to projects and/or organisations without any intermediary! Projects and organisations will be carefully selected so that all the money will be used directly for children's education. The beneficiary will be published at the end of the trip. We will make several posts so that you will see exactly where the money goes. We aim to hand over the money in person to the project/organisation.
