Joyce's Tragic Flood Loss

Joyce Moore of New River Arizona was right in the path of the "1000 year flood" on Tuesday, August 19. The flood swept away her entire barn with five beloved horses still in it. Two were recovered (Gator and Ditto) and sadly, three perished (Magic and Tuck belonging to Joyce and GiGi belonging to a friend). Joyce is an avid rider and a heck of a horsewoman so this loss is heartbreaking. She also suffered major damange to her home and lost many of her tangible possessions - all saddles and tack from the barn, a car, a truck, horse feed, equipment, tools, and almost anything that stood in the water's way. Donations in any amount so she can rebuild would be greatly appreciated.
