Avec moi Sourdlympiques Turquie2017

Je me nomme Danny Berthiaume, membre de l'équipe nationale Canadienne de Judo dans la catégorie des -73Kg.  Je suis malentendant depuis l'âge de 8 ans, suite à des cholestéatomes aux deux oreilles et 4 opérations médicales.

Par mon travail acharné, ma détermination et mon entraînement, il me fait plaisir de représenter mon pays à la plus grande compétition internationale de sport pour sourds et malentendants, les Sourdlympiques.

Les Sourdlympiques, approuvés par le CIO (Comité International Olympique) et le CISS (Comité International des Sports des Sourds), auront lieu du 18 au 30 juillet 2017 à Samsun en Turquie et accueilleront plus de 100 pays.

Le but de ma campagne est d'amasser des fonds pour m'aider dans mon aventure vers les Sourdlympiques 2017.  L'argent amassé m'aidera à couvrir les frais suivants:

- Le voyage (vol, assurance, hébergement, etc.)
- Entrainement à Montréal au CNE (Centre Nationale d'entrainement) Judo haut niveau
- Entrainement en gym
- Soins pour prévenir les blessures (Physio, Chiro et Masso)

Avec votre support je suis certain d'y arriver.
J'espère pouvoir inspirer d'autres personnes à continuer de rêver. Malgré les embuches de la vie chacun à le pouvoir d'atteindre son but.

My name is Danny Berthiaume, a member of the Canadian National Judo Team in the -73Kg category. I have been hearing impaired since the age of 8, following cholesteatomas in both ears and 4 medical operations.

Through my hard work, determination and training, I am proud to represent my country at the biggest international sport competition for deaf and hard of hearing, the Deaflympics.

The Deaflympics, approved by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) and ICSD (International Committee of Sports for the Deaf), will take place from 18 to 30 July 2017 in Samsun in Turkey and will host more than 100 countries.

The goal of my campaign is to raise funds to help me in my adventure towards the 2017 Deaflympics. The money raised will help me to cover the following expenses:

- Travel (airplane, insurance, accommodation, etc.)
- Training in Montreal at the NTC (National Training Center) High level judo
- Fitness training
- Care to prevent injuries (Physio, Chiro and Massage)

With your support I am certain to get there.
I hope to inspire others to keep dreaming. Despite the pitfalls of life everyone has the power to achieve his goal.
