Please Help Me Make a Difference
Hello, I am David Villafranca from Troop 83 in Kenilworth, New Jersey and I am 15 years old. I am a Life Scout in rank and currently working on my Eagle Scout Project. Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank a Boy Scout can achieve. An Eagle Scout project that will benefit my community will help me attain the Eagle Scout rank.
My project is to replace the carpeting in the town’s Court Room and Chambers Room, located at the Kenilworth Borough Hall.
In the past, my Troop and I have been in the Court Room numerous times receiving certificates/recognition awards due to our countless Community Services, Beautification for our town, and just recently my Youth Police Academy Graduation. When receiving these certificates, I have noticed that the carpeting was dirty, old, worn-out, and wasn’t appealing. The same is for the Chambers Room. To show my appreciation and great honor, I want to replace the carpeting as my Eagle Scout Project. This will make the Court Room and Chambers Room more presentable and welcoming place for the community for any Borough Hall events.
Based on the size of the project, I would need to fund raise at least $3,500.00, this would cover the cost of the carpeting, tools, and other supplies that will be used for this project. Any left-over funds will be donated to the Beneficiary of my project, Kenilworth Borough. I am grateful for your contributions and for your help to raise these funds to accomplish my goals.
Also, I would greatly appreciate if you could please help spread the word - I plan to start and finish this Project on October 27-28, 2017.
