Rally for Robert Hunt

Thank you in advance for your unselfish giving to help another in need. I wasn't sure on what "set amount"  so I'll let God determine the blessing He gives us (as our pastor says)
I'm just trying to figure on many factors that would help with him off work & me off work caring for him also.

We have been married 18 yr and have 8 children between us.
We have been foster & adoptive parents since 2000.
Robert puts his kids & family first. ❤️
On August 7, 2014 Robert was doing what he loves most and that is spending time with his children. He was helping our daughter train her new horse when he had a freak accident. He spent the next 4 1/2 days in the hospital with a collapsed lung  with a chest tube in and other minor injuries. We were no where ready to be discharged & against our asking to stay, they released him to go home and he spent the next 3 1/2 days not getting any better but getting worse. On Thursday night August 14 he was taken back to the ER after he collapsed at home. The doctors at the 2nd hospital found that he had been bleeding internally this whole time.
YES the 1st hospital completely missed this on 2 to CAT scans!!
(The new doctors cannot believe it either.) They told us he was very sick and very lucky man to still be alive. He was admitted to a larger trauma center in Plano Texas.

On August 15 the doctors had to do surgery that would save his life. They went in and removed his spleen which had been bleeding internally for now eight days. When they opened him up there was 1.5 liters of blood in his abdomen that had sat in his abdomen over a week. After surgery he  spent the 5 days in ICU. He's had numerous blood transfusions, his lung is still partially collapsed and he is fighting to get better every day. There's more that we choose not to put out publicly for the respect of his privacy while he heals.

The doctors have told him he will miss a minimum of 6–8 weeks of work and this will be a long recovery. He will possibly spend 2 weeks in a hospital rehab to help him get stronger when we are released from this hospital.
It wouldn't have ever been this bad if the first hospital would have caught this badly damaged and bleeding spleen.
(any recommendations on a good medical attorney?)

As many of you know we still have four children left at home. They are the light of his & my life.
You never think that that "rainy day" will come that you're supposed to save up for but for the first time in our lives it has.
We can survive but with medical bills on top of kids, living expenses and no pay for a few weeks....
We trust 100% that God will provide.

God is the only thing that has carried Robert this far.

The doctors told us that they can't believe that he made it this far and we just smile and say "our God is bigger and there are so many people praying to holding us up."

We both thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your prayers, all of your support and in any of your giving.

1st pic is from first hospital stay where he had a chest tube in & was released even after he told them he wasn't ready to go home.
2nd photo is is ICU 2nd day after surgery (our youngest by his side)
