Help Benji walk again and find a home

Benji is a 1 yr old pittie that was surrendured to a local animal hospital by his owners. He is unbelievably sweet and,even with his injuries,has not acted out aggressively at all. He just wants to give kisses, say hello to hospital kittens and wag his tail. He was hit by a car while his owner was in the hospital having a baby. He has a broken pelvis (on the right side) and dislocated hip (on the left side). A dislocated hip cannot be easily "relocated" and normally requires a surgery called an FHO or Femoral Head Ostectomy where the head of the femur is removed and the muscles and tendons end up forming a "false" joint. This surgery is crucial to his survival and will be performed tomorrow. His pelvis will heal on its own with time. He will need a lot of rehab care and we are looking for donations for the surgery(he will be neutered at the same time) and for his care afterwards until he finds his forever home.
