Help for Clarke

We are at the Animal Hospital trying to save a family member and best friend. Ryan has had him since he was  a  kitten and he is one of the toughest cats I have ever met. He is now 18 and up until two days ago he was running around (on the three legs he has left) and making us laugh just like he always does. Today things were different. Our Clarke was feeling ill and became lethargic and was possibly having seizures. We brought him in to see what was going on, and terrified of horrible news. They did bloodwork and were suprised at how healthy our little kitty is. He does have kidney disease and they think that he has some kind of infection that is causing his kidneys to have a hard time. He was severly dehydrated and it was causing him to be in a confused state. They said he needs to be stabilized, which can happen, with fluids, pain killers and antibiotics. After that he can come home and be on meds to keep him healthy. We LOVE our kitty. I know other pet owners understand. For Ryan, this is a lifetime family member. Someone he has known since high school. To think of that connection being broken and losing him over money is almost unbearable. We really need help to pay for his hospital bills. He isnt ready to go, and we arent ready to lose him.
