Rescue horse care

Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program has taken on the huge task of rehabilitating three rescued horses from a dire situation. The pictures reflect some of the progress that has been made. Upon arrival at our center ribs, hips and spinal cords were in full view and on-lookers had to fight back tears. Feeding, medical/dental and daily care are very costly and were not accounted for in our operating budget for this year.  The three horses are Roman Frolic, Sun Kissed Girl and Saint Jen.  Sun Kissed Girl’s teeth were so damaged she wasn’t even able to eat.  Thanks to the help she’s receiving she is now able to eat and is gaining weight.  Your financial support will help to save these horses and return them to the majestic animals they once were. Our goal will be to place them in loving forever homes where they will never have to endure the hardship they once did.
