Week 6: CUTENESS OVERLOAD! Who has the cutest pet? Prove it by sending us pictures of your super adorably cute pet!

Open to all dogs and cats in your household! We are based in SW Virginia but encourage all pets everywhere and their families to participate!

Why?

Giles Animal Rescue has taken in several very expensive animals this year leaving us with several very large vet bills, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

This contest is a fundraiser to help offset the cost of those vet bills so that other dogs like Pete, the American Bulldog mix and Casey, the Saint Bernard, have a second chance at life. Two weeks ago, Blinkin, a tiny kitten in foster care, got so unexpectedly ill, he was was rushed to the veterinary hospital where he battled for his life. Blinkin survived, but now we are faced with yet more financial strain.

Unfortunately, without further donations, Giles Animal Rescue is at a near stand still.

Our Goal:

Raise $1,000

Our vet bills are well over $1,000 so if we can surpass our goal, that would be purrrfect! This will also ensure future dogs and cats won't be turned away due to lack of funds.

Prizes:

1st Place - $150 giftcard to Petsmart and your pets' winning photo will be our Profile Picture for a week!

2nd Place- $50 giftcard to Petsmart

3rd Place - $25 giftcard to Petsmart

*Petsmart giftcards may be exchanged for Walmart giftcards of the same dollar amount

Cost:

$5 donation to submit 1 photo per category (total of 5 categories)

$10 donation to submit unlimited photos in one category only

$15 donation to submit unlimited photos in all 5 categories - best deal!

How To Submit Your Photos:

Make sure to include your name and phone number in the email as well as your pets information (name, age, breed, and a short discription of the photo).

More Info:

- The contest will last for 5 weeks, each week there will be a new category (for example: bath time, BFF's, play time, etc...)

- By the end of the 5 weeks, we will choose our 3 favorite photo submissions from each category. Our top 15 favorites will be uploaded to Facebook where YOU will get a chance to vote for the ultimate winner by LIKING your favorite picture.

-At the end of the contest, we will give our Facebook followers 5 days to vote for their favorite photos.

-Get your friends and family involved by sharing our page so that they may vote for your pet! Promoting is allowed and encouraged.

-Be creative and have fun!

-This contest is ALL about the fur babies! Us humans may only be in a photo as long as the pet is the main feature.

-We will attempt to upload all submissions to our Facebook page, but please give us time.

- Photos must be original, unpublished, and not copyrighted.

-In the event that this photo contest does not generate enough funds to cover the prizes, the contest will be extended.

By submitting photographic images to Giles Animal Rescue (GAR), you grant Giles Animal Rescue permission to repost your photograph on our Facebook page and our website gilesanimalrescue.org. If you do not wish to grant Giles Animal Rescue these rights, it is suggested that you do not submit photographic images to the contest stated above. Giles Animal Rescue reserves the right to select and edit submissions, and to remove images from the website at any time at its sole discretion.

Entrants warrant they own all rights to the photo they are submitting.
