CV for a BETTER Sandag Project

We live in the wonderful community of Otay Ranch in Chula Vista, CA.  We live near many parks and a local elementary school, which houses over 1000 students.  Most of us moved to this area because of its family friendly environment and safety of our children.  We were told by the builders and SANDAG that there are plans for a bus system to go near our home but not directly on our major street called East Palomar.  East Palomar is the street where our local Elementary School is.  Sandag has changed their original plans of routing their bus system through Telegraph Canyon Rd. or Olympic, away from our elementary school.  They have decided that it would be best "for them" to go through East Palomar (directly in front of our elementary school) - however, this negatively impacts the safety of our children and our neighborhood.  We were not told of their changes at all!  We are in dire need of raising $10,000 ASAP in order to help pay for our legal representation that can fight for us in changing the bus route to go away from our local elementary school and for SANDAG to stick to their original plan that they disclosed to us!  Please donate as little or as much as you can, every penny will help us neighbors to STOP SANDAG from changing their original plans! Our neighbors and children thank you!!!
