After sacrificing so much, and working so hard in college, the unfortunate situation for countless individuals starting off their careers, is a financially stifling student loan repayment process that is unmanageable. Without a resource in place to provide strategic planning assistance for students considering their loan options, in addition to up to date, unbiased, clear information to students facing loan repayment issues, the inevitable outcome for many is financial catastrophe.
My Story/Experience:
Soon after the elation of completing my studies, my life was nothing like what I had imagined. Unmanageable loan payments, equaling more than my monthly rent, sent myself and my family into a financial downward spiral. Getting straight answers about my rights and options seemed impossible as over and again I was caught in the endless bureaucratic loan repayment processes. I was exasperated, overwhelmed, and desperate for a solution. The student loan repayment crisis I experienced is a story that has been retold many times. I founded College Debt Solution because I, like so many student borrowers today, feel lenders often mislead and misrepresent the facts about the terms and obligations of student loan repayment. It's time for the truth to be told, and the facts to be clear about student loans.
