Coast to Coast to Coast Canada 2017

Donation protected

I'm everybodies mother...
My hope is to travel Coast-to-Coast-to-Coast in Canada to celebrate Canada's 150 year birthday this year...2017.
I have travel benefits (retired).  Just don't have the cash flow (retired with a small pension)
The money will be used for everything other than air fare and bus fare.  I have a couchsurfing acct already.  Looking forward to actually using it.  My grandchildren don't really require my day-to-day school pick-up and delivery or grandma-daycare services.  I'm bored to tears and would love to see Canada while I still have my health, or the daughter currently on mat-leave returns to work and grandma-daycare will need to reopen full-time.
I am hoping for a trip or two a month.  Grandma-daycare still operates friday afternoon for 4 hrs.  The plan is to travel Saturday to Thursday maximum twice a month.  Either couchsurfing or hostels for accomodations or all those 1 or 2 degrees of seperation of friends or relatives.  I'm cheap, so mooching off friends or relatives is kinda my thing.  Not real crazy about hotels/motels or the like.  Are you a potential friend? Or a long lost relative? What degree of seperation?
My first trip is to Maui in January, only because its a  Mother-daughter-sister trip.  I don't think we've spent 24/7 all together since my sister and I were 4 & 5 yrs old. We're 82, 62, and still 60...for a couple months. The two weeks will be interesting.  I hope we all survive the experience.  I've got plans to post details of my trips to

www.chezlamere.wordpress.com

Who knows...I may be coming to your town/city.  Wouldn't that be great.  I might need a tour guide for a couple hours.

This is an experiment of gigantic ...potentially embarassing proportions.  You could be part of it.

This whole experience will be something to look forward to this year.  Get me outta the house.  I prefer to travel by myself.  I'm open to hiking, walking, biking, my way around.  Getting bumped on planes, weather delays, etc don't faze me.  I've usually got a good book to keep me occupied  and I have been known to talk to total strangers.  There are a surprising amount of really interesting  Canadians out there.

I will be very grateful for any and all contributions.  I'll send you something weird (I don't know what yet, it'll be a surprise), as a thankyou.
