Below is the aticle from the Lewis County Hearld.

A five-year-old Lewis County boy died Saturday evening as the result of injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident near Vanceburg.
A spokesman with the Morehead Post of the Kentucky State Police said KSP officials were notifiedSaturday evening of a fatal collision on Ky. Rt. 8 at Dugan’s Curve east of Vanceburg.
The spokesman said Steven Roy Brown, 23, of Garrison, was operating a 2003 Pontiac Vibe east on the roadway when he apparently lost control of the vehicle as he was negotiating the curve. The vehicle crossed the westbound lane, went off the roadway, over a small embankment and struck a tree.
Sheriff Johnny Bivens said the accident happened about 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
Bivens said first responders immediately assessed the seriousness of the accident and called for medical helicopters to transport those most seriously injured.
He said landing zones for the medical helicopters were established at the nearby Black Oak Industrial Park.
Bivens said although three medical helicopters were called, one was unable to fly because of the weather. Thunderstorms had been active in the area Saturday evening.
Bivens said passengers in the vehicle included Steven Brown’s wife, Shyla Dunigan Brown, 24, and their children, six-year-old Makeya, five-year-old Quinton, two-year-old Max and one-year-old Neveya.
Steven Brown and Makeya were airlifted to Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia; Shyla Brown, Max and Neveya were transported by ambulance to Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio; and Quinton, who was pronounced dead at the scene by Lewis County Coroner Tony Gaydos, Bivens said. Max was later transferred from Portsmouth to a Columbus, Ohio, medical center.
Shyla Brown and Neveya were treated and released from SOMC, he added.
Bivens said an accident reconstruction specialist with KSP was called to the scene.
The roadway remained closed until 9:45 p.m. Saturday as officials worked at the scene.
