Cascade Locks School Fundraiser
Donation protected
Cascade Locks Elementary School is located in the heart of the Columbia Gorge in Oregon. We are a small kindergarten through fifth grade school of 65 students. We are a Title 1A school, over 70% of our students are considered economically disadvantaged by the state. We qualified for the Community Eligibility Provision which provides free breakfast and lunch to all of our students. We have a very tight knit, supportive and involved community.
Our needs are simple. With budget cuts we are struggling with funding for extra curricular activites such as field trips. The field trips are very important as many families in our community do not have the means to take their children on excursions to explore the world beyond their small town. We would also use raised funds to bring in outside resources such as the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Oregon Coast Aquarium, guest authors and the Oregon Zoo.
Your support woud be greatly appreciated by all.
