In the other corner, our sworn enemy, cancer.
DING DING DING
Round One; in 1996 our Home Town Girl, Debby Dean, age 36, started her fight against that vial of opponents, Breast Cancer. She won that round, but before the ten-count was over,with a vengeance, it got up off the floor to attack her again.
Round 2; in 2011 it came back even more aggressive, yet Debby Dean fought courageously using chemo and radiation to beat it back to the floor. This most hated of opponents, though, rose up before the count was over.
It’s now Round 3; Debby Dean has been diagnosed with the Bracca 1 Mutation Gene. Debby has since had a double Mastectomy and complete Hysterectomy. Her Chemo, Radiation treatments, Surgeries combined with all the appointments have left our 54 year old Home Town Girl unable to support herself, and the Doctor and Hospital bills are really piling up.
We, her friends, are asking you to help this strong, amazing woman who is fighting this Cancer Beast valliantly, but is financially up against the ropes. She needs our help Sports Fans, so let’s put our money down on Debby and give her the assistance she so desperately needs.
