Cameras for Underprivileged Kids!

my vision and bring more cameras to our photography workshops, raising

Three years ago I had a vision. I dreamt of children and art, traveling and sharing, photographs and fundraisers. The dream kept calling me and five months ago, after three years of holding this vision, I created CEILA. Today I am asking for your help to make this dream a reality.
CIELA's mission is to put cameras into the hands of underprivileged children around the world, inspiring and empowering them through art of photography and creative expression. CIELA serves as a bridge between those who have resources to give and those who need resources to live. Our goal is to share the children's unique art through an online marketplace, gallery shows and fundraisers. The proceeds are given directly to the organizations that support the children in order to help create happier, healthier lives.
This spring I will be traveling to Peru for my first international photography workshop. I will be offering workshops to 100 children through Fundación Niños del Arco Iris, a foundation that supports underprivileged children giving them daily meals, medical care and a good education. This foundation is excited to weave art and creativity into these children's lives!

My intention is to raise $1200.00 by March 15th for the purchase of SIX digital cameras that will be used in our international workshops year after year all over the world. Any amount raised over $1200.00 will be used to purchase additional cameras and accessories and support an ongoing art/photography program for the children in Peru. More cameras, more photographs, more inspired children!
